Fortunately, there are people like this woman, whose name is Aza, who is one of the few truly noble locals who looks after stray pets. Aza travels up into the Turkish highlands, where hundreds of stray dogs reside in need of food and water.
For the past ten years, she has been feeding and caring for these animals.
Her commute takes two hours, and she does it virtually every evening after work.
She has been doing this for many years and devotes all of her time and resources to assisting these endearing creatures.
The woman welcomes donations since the cost of buying water and food, as well as fuel for the car, continues to rise.
These dogs, she confesses, are like her children, with their own names, personalities, and stories.
She feels that all animals definitely deserve to be loved, and that if there is a way to help, it should be taken.
