Mery’s life had been nothing but challenging until she met Mark, her new owner, and everything changed. Mark McCraw and his wife Mary’s rescue dog, Bubba, passed a few months ago.
They were going through a hard time and weren’t prepared to love a puppy as much as they adored Bubba, but then Mery appeared!
She ‘won my heart,’ Mark remarked to The Dodo. We lost our previous dog a few months before meeting Mery, so in my opinion, it was simply a casual encounter.
I didn’t think I was prepared for a new dog at the time, yet here we are.

As though they had been reunited, Mery runs over to him, leaps into his arms, and gives her numerous hugs. Cool, right?
