After a relaxing week at the beach with her children, Isabelle returned home, only to make a shocking discovery: her new neighbor, Thomas, had built a high fence right next to her windows, blocking her view. It was a complete surprise, especially since she hadn’t given permission for such a construction.
Her kids, Emily and Max, didn’t understand what had happened right away, but they immediately noticed something was off.
“Mum, we can’t see the garden anymore,” Emily said, pointing at the fence.
Isabelle’s heart raced. She couldn’t believe it. While she was away, Thomas had built the fence without her consent, invading her space and blocking the sunlight from her home. Thomas blushed and tried to explain himself, “I’ve been planning this for months. I just need more privacy.”

Their conversation was the start of an ongoing conflict. Thomas insisted on going ahead with his plan, but Isabelle refused every time. Standing in her yard, enjoying the moment, Isabelle saw Thomas approach, clearly embarrassed.
“Isabelle, I owe you an apology. I shouldn’t have built the fence without your permission,” he said, his eyes lowered.
Isabelle smiled and said, “Apology accepted, Thomas. Let’s start fresh.”
