Had they changed soap, detergent, or baby products?
Sarah shook her head each time.
Then the doctor asked something that made both parents look at each other.
“Did you recently change the formula brand?”
Sarah suddenly remembered.
“Yes,” she said quietly. “Three days ago.”
Daniel turned toward her.
“I thought it was basically the same formula.”
The doctor nodded thoughtfully and continued examining Emma.

“I should have noticed sooner…”
“Please don’t blame yourself,” the doctor said gently. “You did the right thing by bringing her here.”
The medical team began treating Emma and closely monitoring her condition. They also made sure there were no signs of a more serious reaction.
