While on his way to work, James heard a voice. It came from deep within the forest.
James finished his task, but the thought of this dog stayed with him. He decided to return and look into it.
He was even more surprised to see a puppy. James made the decision to figure out everything. He deduced that the little dog had been left behind.
James elected to bring her back home and wash her. He named the dog Chucky and took her to a shelter where she would be cared for. The firefighter couldn’t leave Chucky after he left her there.
He knew she was fine to go and that he didn’t have anything to think about, but he definitely wanted to see her again.
He was amazed every time he saw Chucky the day after he had rescued her.
She approached him wearing a lovely pink sweater. She got into his arms as she saw her pal. Chucky’s eyes shone with hope for a better life. James was impressed by her response to the point where he considered adopting Chucky himself.
