At the end of June, a US citizen aged 80 joined a styling program. Because his wife can no longer do it herself, he came to learn how to do her hair and makeup.
The guy explained to Mery Swift, the college’s director, that his wife, with whom he had nearly 55 years of marriage, was losing her ability.
So he made the decision to learn how to style her hair.
Because of how much his wife loves makeup, he made the decision to learn how to apply mascara.
‘His honest desire to help his wife was extremely touching to my team,’ Mery said.
He proudly displayed photographs of his wife to everyone, praising her for her beauty and abilities.
She has always taken great pride in her appearance, and since she values it, he values it as well. Nice, right?
They still adore and respect one another and care for one another.
