While taking a break from a rap tour, Georgia resident J Rey made the decision to submit an application for a position collecting cat litter at the county shelter.
J Rey simply desired to work and be active for financial gain.

Additionally, he has always had a special place for animals.
J Rey’s contacts with stray cats and rescues inspired him to make a difference.
He convened a meeting of his group and explained his decision to leave.

The rapper has devoted all of his time to enlightening the public and supporting cat rescue organizations.
He immediately became aware that he was the only black man in the shelter handling cats, yet he didn’t care.

The rapper has more than five years of experience in the field and has become well-versed in all aspects of cat care and rescue. He decided to build a shelter in 2017.

The organization was started with the goal of altering interactions between white-dominated animal welfare organizations and black men involved in cat rescue.
