The retired doctor Dave Bay has always loved taking his dogs on vacation and going kayaking.
And one day he thought of the ideal approach to bring these two things together. The man created a boat that is just for dogs.
Any outing on the sea would now be incomplete without his canine companions.
One of Dave’s dogs was readily able to fit into the cargo compartment of a kayak he had earlier made, which gave him the inspiration for the design.
Although it wouldn’t have enough room for a human’s legs, Dave turned the luggage compartment into a ‘dog-shaped opening’ that was ideal for his dog Suzy.
Additionally, he used unique fasteners to seal off water.
As a result, his pet could travel on adventurous adventures in safety. He made another hole in the boat when he purchased another doggy named Gilly.
The joyful pups also had the opportunity to experience kayaking for the first time, which they thoroughly liked.
Later, a new generation received the dog kayak. Now, according to Bay, ‘my wife takes our new golden dog Pingu with her on boat trips.’
