I Am Legend may have been one of many movies that helped Will Smith establish himself as a serious actor in the mid to late 2000’s (along with The Pursuit of Happiness and Seven Pounds), but we all know who the real star of the end times superhero movie was.
The most moving scenes in the movie took place between Robert Nevile (played by Will) and a dog that his daughter gave him.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that Sam’s real-life narrative is much happier before you go to bed thinking about how this tale ended for Sam.
Abby, the dog who plays Sam, is still active and well today even though the movie was released more than ten years ago.
The best part is that she still resides with her trainer’s family.
Steve Berens told LAbible that the 13 years-old canine is now relaxing with his daughter and kids in retirement.
He explained, ‘She’s older now and she doesn’t hear much. However, she still enjoys playing with the ball. Have you seen the movie?
