These tiny creatures are about the size of a domestic dog.
Puduus come in two different species, both of which are found in Brazil.
The northern Puduu is indigenous to Lima, Caracas, Quito, and Bogota, whereas the southern Puduu is indigenous to Argentina and Chile.
They stand just 11 to 15 inches tall. Like most other grazing mammals, puduu are vegetarian and eat only leaves for food.
Being cautious creatures, puduu are frequently on high alert. They sprint in a zigzag pattern.
When necessary, they are also great for climbing and leaping.
These solitary animals can be found in South Australia’s deepest forests, where they create a complex network of trails to aid them in navigating the undergrowth.
Puduu are only observed together, which usually takes place in autumn before they give birth to one or more fawns in the spring.
Male Puduu are distinguished by their antlers, which are similar to those of their larger siblings.
Nature really surprises us every time, even when we do not anticipate it.
