Last month, Melodia was brought to a Texas animal shelter.
Another pet had been brought to the shelter, and no one knew anything about her previous existence with the family.
However, her state revealed that the dog’s owners had definitely stopped caring about her.
But it became evident that Melodia would have a hard time getting out of the circumstances she was in. Melodia gave birth to a litter of 10 lovely cubs recently and was transported to a shelter with them.
Melodia, despite weighing less, made sure her children were adequately fed.
When animal rights activists learnt about the dog’s story, they did everything they could to assist her.
They shared her story on Facebook, and a foster family was found.
As soon as she moved into her new foster family, she changed physically and spiritually.
She was certain of her personal safety as well as the protection of her children.
She’s put on a lot of weight, and the babies are simply stunning, healthy, and well-fed. Animal rights advocates made this dog’s rescue possible, but don’t forget that there are many other pets in shelters who require assistance.
