A construction worker was riding his bicycle home one evening when he observed a small bird laying by the side of the road.
The man picked up the bird and took it home. He fed the feathery creature, whom he named Black, and started to care for him.
Black needed around four weeks to heal and get back to flying.
He developed a close friendship with him throughout this period and did not want to be without him.
Then Eddie built a garden aviary for his bird pal.
He now frequently travels to see the man and occasionally spends the night there. He is now my best friend, and we talk all the time.
People in the city frequently comment about Black, and if I go for a stroll without him, they inquire about where my feathery friend is.
Black is a lovely pet. said Eddie. Every time Black sees his two-legged pal, he gently pats him with his beak to show how close they are.
In my hometown, I was relatively well known, but thanks to Black, my fame has spread well beyond its limits’
