A left dog wound up at a shelter that euthanizes animals that no one wanted to take care of nine years ago. One of them was this dog.
Visitors to the center avoided him because he had too much energy.
The puppy was placed on a waiting list for euthanasia, but fate shone on him — he was picked by his present owner.
During the many years spent with his new owner, the caring and kind dog reared many left or orphaned kittens.
He provides them with the love and attention that they did not receive from their biological parents.
The dog takes on all of mom and dad’s responsibilities: he licks the kittens, plays with them, and teaches them good behavior.
When it comes time to send the kittens away, the dog takes a well-deserved break for many weeks. But then the dog becomes depressed because he misses them.
And when fresh kittens arrive in the house, there isn’t a happier dog in the world.
«The day the new kitten arrives is his own vacation!» said the dog’s kind owner.
