Copper, a two-year-old doggy, is believed to be one of just 30 dogs worldwide who were born with the enigmatic short spine condition.
Copper appears to be more of an animation than a genuine doggy due to the absence of his neck.
As a result of this condition, the dog’s head is pushed straight into the body, and he is unable to turn his head yet may gaze straight ahead. Copper also has a lot of trouble walking on straight surfaces, but he is otherwise a very typical dog.
Copper, despite his odd appearance, is seductive in his own special way, especially when he smiles. Perhaps it was for that reason that this pair chose him when they came to the shelter.
‘Despite walking challenges and a bone anomaly, Copper is a happy doggy,’ the proprietors claim. When Copper arrived in the shelter, he was in a bad shape, and few believed he would make it.
Regardless, the shelter staff worked out a way to get him to live through some magical means. Copper is a friendly dog that always attracts a lot of attention everywhere he goes.
