An officer in Florida discovered a little, abandoned kitten at the base of a lamppost. Cardine took the kitten and carried it to the construction site.
Sergeant Wallace carried the kitten in his arms and caressed her all night so she didn’t feel lonely.
Officer Cardine brought the chosen kitten to the station and made a bed for her out of cardboard boxes. Sergeant Wallace, however, could not leave the cat alone because she appeared to be lonely.
He picked up the baby and started to babysit her.
Wallace couldn’t stop hugging the kitten all night and couldn’t bear to part with her. Kelsi was the name he gave to the kitty, and he decided to adopt her.
On Father’s Day, June 19th, the kitty got a new dad by a lucky coincidence.
Wallace and his new pet were photographed and posted to the police department’s page.
