Brutu lives in California with his human parents. The dog, like any other dog, ate, tore up, and destroyed many different toys during his life, except for one — a fluffy, yellow ball. This is his favorite toy, and he does not want to part with it, therefore he treats it with care.
‘We received the dog as a puppy, and he became our first kid,’ the dog’s owner explains. The wife fell pregnant shortly after the dog appeared.
The dog’s behavior has altered dramatically.
When the baby was born, the Michaleks had no concerns about whether or not to introduce the dog to the infant right away.
The dog greeted the mother and baby as soon as they left the hospital. The dog understood the weight of duty that had been put on his shoulders from the start.
He made an effort not to move away from the infant, constantly keeping him in his line of sight. When the infant started crying, the dog instantly discovered how to soothe him down, astounded the boy’s parents.
He walked to the other room without hesitation and returned with his most prized possession for the youngster — a fluffy, yellow ball.
‘When we watched what the dog did for the infant, my husband and I were brought to tears. ‘Our boy appears to have the finest elder brother in the world,’ the mom says.
