The cat and Andrew have grown close over time and love spending a lot of time together.
The kitty enjoys giving Andrew hugs. Nina, Andrew’s mother, searched via numerous Facebook groups, visited shelters, and posted reviews in an effort to find the cat.
Sadly, nothing worked out until a person posted on Facebook that she had found the cat five weeks after Finnie vanished.
In his own words: I contacted the individual after seeing numerous images of him on Facebook and discovered he was immediately behind us.
He was down the next street. Nina was overjoyed that he had been located safe and sound; now they only needed to plan their meeting.
Until his family could pick him up, it appears that one of his neighbors looked after him and kept him secure at his residence.
Nina coordinated the entire process to get Finnie back in order to offer Andrew a spectacular surprise.
Andrew was taken aback to discover Finnie in his neighbor’s arms when they entered the house to wait for the ‘present’ after arriving at the neighbor’s house together.
When Andrew realized they had found his best friend, he was overcome with emotion.
