An elephant from the wild pays a visit to the man who rescued her and shows him her cub

Sulli the elephant was discovered alone in the wild in Africa about 20 years ago.

She was still a newborn at the time, and she didn’t have her mother with her.

She was rescued from a wildlife park with the help of animal rights activists.

It was there that she met Adam, the reserve’s head caretaker, who serves as the reserve’s owner and, in fact, functions as the mother for elephants like her.

‘He organizes the elephants’ day-to-day care and well-being, ensuring that they are always happy and healthy,’ said Robert, the reserve’s executive director.

Sulli had already grown to be quite independent by 2009, and the elephant left the reserve with her guardians’ consent to live in the wild, in her natural environment.

However, despite her newfound freedom, she remembered Adam, the man who had saved and raised her.

‘Despite the fact that Sulli has been out in the wild for more than a decade, she never appears to forget the generosity offered to her,’ Robert stated.

This was never more clear than when Sulli chose to come out of the woods to pay a visit to Adam with her babies.
