Alisa, John’s dog, left. A full year of looking turned up nothing. The family was told to accept and proceed. John also considered buying a new pet.
Prior to the New Year, the man was looking at shelter websites and all of a sudden recognized a face.
There was no question that the dog in another picture missing its hind part was his Alisa. An hour away from his house, John quickly called the shelter and left a message.
They immediately recognized Alisa’s difference from other dogs.
All the pieces of the puzzle came together after speaking with John. And they set up a meeting between the man and the missing animal right away.
Alisa was reunited with her owner on New Year’s Eve.
The dog didn’t forget about John and was glad to be back at home, where plenty of treats and cuddly embraces awaited her after all the trials.
John claims that he still does not accept what took place and views Alisa’s unanticipated return as a genuine New Year’s miracle.
Luckily, the doggy found her owner and they are happy now.
