Nathan Sonoras’ life changed when he adopted a black, lovely kitten. He found a friend that brought joy and happiness into his life. In turn, the man lavished him with love and affection, as well as taking good care of him.
Because Loki was an outdoor cat, he enjoyed wandering around the neighborhood, and Nathan let him do so because he knew he’d be back shortly. However, something awful occurred one day as a result of that practice of roving the streets.
Nathan observed something black near his house once when he went home from work. He came to get a better look at the unmoving black object and discovered it was a black cat lying alongside the road.
Nathan assumed it was his Loki, fearing he’d been hit by a car. The distraught man called his fiancée, who arrived on the spot right away to console his worried and distraught friend and assist him in planning the poor cat’s funeral.
They buried the suffocating body of their beloved pet in a quiet spot of their yard. Nathan was heartbroken and crying, unable to believe he would never see his friend again.
He was distressed as he remembered all of the great times he had with his cat.
Nathan was surprised the next morning to see that Loki had come home after his wanderings. He was in perfect health and safety.
Nathan couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his cat, that had been buried only hours before. What are the chances of this happening?
Nathan cried as he hugged Loki, overjoyed to see his friend again. The dead cat was not Nathan’s Loki, he knew.
He dug up a strange black cat and buried it. He was overjoyed and relieved that beloved Loki was still alive and well.
