In 2018, a 26-year-old girl named Raquel purchased a two-story building that had previously housed a police station and transformed it into her dream home.
She spent 180,000 pounds on the house. Raquel was aware that she had a significant task at hand.
The building was constructed in 1853. Additionally, it was shut down in 1969 as the station moved to a new location.
Everything inside the house was the same as it had been 49 years earlier when the purchase was made: two cells with bars, office spaces with papers left behind that aren’t needed, etc.
Together with her boyfriend Mikey, Raquel devised a strategy for the renovation and began working on it.
