When Valerya Bennett, a 13-year-old from London, was strolling through the park, her cherished dog Ola was taken directly in front of her.
Find Ola is a social media organization that Valerya and her parents started because they were determined to get their pet back home.
Over a period of time, locals actively looked for Ola and often updated the Bennet family on new developments.
The search for the dog eventually came to an end, though.
The miracle Valerya had been waiting for finally happened ten years later, when she already had another pet and Ola had been located.
‘I got emotional when they told me that he had been well.
It was wonderful; I had no idea it would actually occur, says Valerya.
A few neighborhood kids found a little dog approximately 21 kilometers from Valerya’s home.
They brought the dog to the vet, and thanks to a microchip, the staff there was able to track down the animal’s owners.
Valerya came to get her pet on the same day, and she took him home. Unexpectedly, Ola recognized each member of his family right away.
She also made quick friends with another Bennet dog.
