This photographer posted a snap of penguins on social media that went popular almost immediately. The photos were taken in a suburb last year, but Tobias wanted to share them now, when people are in need of encouragement.
He spent three nights among a penguin colony, according to him, in order to take images.
«These two penguins stood on the ledge for hours, gripping their flippers, staring at the skyline, which blended with the ocean line and flashing lights.
«Since that time, they’ve been together on a regular basis to soothe each other,» the photographer adds.
The way these two penguins interacted and looked after one another was unlike anything else in the colony.
The rest of the penguins dozed or ran, but these two seemed to be oblivious to the chaos around them, simply holding on to their flippers and gazing into the distance.
The photographer adds a very beautiful quote, «Love is the only game in which we win even when we lose.»
