Naturally, lions are animals that need to be handled with care; it would be wise to simply avoid them.
However, this does not imply that they are cold and unfeeling.
And a compelling example of this is the tale of 71-year-old zookeeper Frickki von Solms.
Frickki, a resident of South Africa, has known Zilon, a remarkably calm and devoted lion, for eleven years.
Zilon was born at the zoo to the lioness Kata, but was swiftly removed.
It is to the point that a man now takes measures before visiting his peculiar pet and takes off his shoes, as the noise of shoes can disturb Zilon.
Frickki claims that taking care of a lion is a very interesting experience, especially given the fact that he grew up with him and learned many new things while growing up with him.
He also grew up in front of him from infancy.
He affirms that although lions are sometimes characterized in general terms, each one has a unique personality, sense of humor, and other distinguishing traits.
Zilon is lavishly treated. Sion and Frickki have been friends for 12 years, and they won’t part ways.
