After undergoing treatment, the girl made the decision to take home an animal from a shelter.
She went through a time of starting a new life and considered taking in someone.
After some thought, she returned to the shelter and asked the workers to show her the cat who stays there the longest.
She was also shown the Kala cat. She was once a street cat that was also pretty elderly.
The cat appeared to sense the girl’s intentions toward her. The future owner smiled for the first time in a while as she started to meow loudly.
When Kala was at home, she had difficulty falling asleep.
She finally slept in the morning. The cat then only slept with the girl after that. She was incredibly loving and loved receiving hugs.
It was obvious she liked the girl.
So, a large, ageing cat from the shelter is able to spread joy and smiles, and the girl deserves praise for giving the purr a chance to age in a loving, caring environment.
