A woman who thought she had permanently lost her wedding band discovered it had been eaten by her dog!
Leana was surprised to discover her precious stone ring had vanished from the bedside table where she had placed it the night before.
She quickly recognized who had received the ring when she noticed a box on the floor.
Fugu, her favorite pet dog who had simply walked into the room, ate it. Leana, on the other hand, took her dog to the vet.
The x-ray revealed that Fugu had eaten her mother’s priceless ring.
The fact that the ring had not been lost was undoubtedly reassuring to the lady, but the question now was how to retrieve it.
In any case, finding Fugu’s stomach ring proved to be far more difficult than Leana and her husband had anticipated.
They even used a metal locator to find the dog after he ran away; it took four days, but they eventually found him.
‘My better half even bought a metal detector to try to see it, and thankfully on the fourth day it eventually emerged,’ the woman explained.
