When Iggy, a great horned owl, was on her final Iegs, she was taken to the vet. She was rescued by a compassionate man who happened to see her.
The owl was so thankful to her savior Andrew that when he returned from his trip, she couldn’t stop cuddling him.
‘This bird was one of the most important we have ever cared for’ .
Andrew would be the best person to look for Iggy. Without Andrew, it’s unlikely that the cure would have been possible.
‘She is completely familiar with him and has complete faith in him.’ It’s the look of assurance on his face.’
‘I have never seen somebody with such a connection to these amazing creatures in all my years of working with birds,’ they added.
Iggy had entire faith in Andrew.
Iggy couldn’t hide her joy when Andrew returned from a trip to see family.
She began to dance and couldn’t take her arms away from him. ‘Watching him connect with these birds genuinely makes me emotional,’ they wrote.
