The nose of a 3-year-old dog measures 13.2 inches, making it the world’s longest

Elka, a greyhound from California. Her nose is 13.2 inches long! Elka stood out even as a puppy. She didn’t meet the breed’s requirements.

Her teeth were projected to be an issue by the veterinarians.

However, there were two caring souls among them. Elka approached Lilia and Savanna as they arrived to choose a puppy and climbed into her arms.

The deed has been completed, and the dog has been living with them since then.

This March, she celebrated her second birthday.

Elka’s snout measures more than 13.2 inches long, which is very long and elongated even by breed standards. And this is the same nose that clings to everything; thankfully, it can fit into any opening, including between the sofa cushions.

Elka is an emotional and inquisitive creature, and she is also fortunate in that none of the negative predictions came true. She is a highly lively and cheery animal with no issues with her teeth or joints.

The length of Elka’s nose was not formally documented because she is a bit of an outlier. And it’s not really required; what matters is that the dog and its owners are content!
