The owner of Australia’s wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre, Gilly, took this photo in 2015. She photographed her while offering him a teddy bear.
The kangaroo has been hugging the toy nonstop since he first became enamoured with it.
On the side of the road, the woman discovered a kangaroo and took ownership of it. Nobody was aware of his mother’s whereabouts.
Animal required care because it was not ok. In Gilly’s care, he was.
She worked hard, and the baby quickly started to gain energy.
The kangaroo was decided to be taken into the surrounding fauna of the animal rescue centre, which was his home.
He continues to frequent the centre despite its newfound independence.
He pays a visit to Gilly and the volunteers who took care of him to show that he has not forgotten them. They give him food in return.
Kangaroo also recalls his animal companion.
It always gives his favourite bear a hug when he comes to the centre. as seen by a photo that was shot on the organisation’s property.
No one is unchanged by this tender friendship even today.
