Last October, a dog was discovered chained in the courtyard of an abandoned house.
The dog was transferred to an animal shelter after being released. The volunteers deduced from the dog’s behavior that it had never lived in the house and had never known human affection.
He was nervous and afraid of others around him in the shelter. The dog had become accustomed to the volunteers who had saved him. He, on the other hand, did not engage with other people or animals.
But it wasn’t long before it became evident that beneath all of this feigned antagonism, there was a sweet puppy yearning for love. As soon as the dog became accustomed to his new surroundings, he began to show his affection to everyone.
The dog wanted to hug everyone he met along the way. When the dog was released from the leash on the first walk in the yard, according to one of the shelter’s employees, he rushed to her and stood for nearly fifteen minutes, holding her about the waist.
The dog was able to find new owners in the winter of 2020. They returned him after only a week and a half, claiming that the pet was not suitable for them. The dog is still at the shelter and shows his affection for his new friends by hugging each one.
And the volunteers can only hope that the friendly dog will find a family who will appreciate him one day.
