Lia, a lovely canine, resided within the shelter’s walls for more than a year.
Many of her companions had already been taken during this time, and this little puppy had been unlucky for some reason.
She was not just attractive, but also sociable, intelligent, and well-behaved, with no health issues, and the shelter workers wondered why no one had needed such a lovely dog before.
One woman frequently volunteered at the shelter, making donations or bringing food, walking the dogs, and being concerned about Lia, who had been donated to the shelter by her owners because they were relocating.
A regular event was also held in this shelter, during which the pets were introduced to possible owners and given the opportunity to speak.
Lia’s pleasant demeanor that day pleased many, but they refused to take her.
The same woman who was volunteering at the shelter was concerned about Lia, and she grew attached to her during her stay there.
Then she took the only logical decision: who else, if not herself, would be the perfect owner for this lovely girl?
