Homeless dogs are faced with a wide range of issues. Mother dogs, who must already care for themselves and their babies, find life on the street emotionally challenging.
They are willing to go to any length to protect their children or wait for assistance.
And, thankfully, there are always nice people willing to provide a helping hand to these animals.
Shelter staff came swiftly after getting a word that a family of stray canines needed assistance.
Because it rained yesterday night, the people who called the animal rights activist stated they fed the dogs and put out a cardboard box for them.
In a little box, the mother dog kept her newborn puppies warm and safe.
She seemed to comprehend when the rescuers arrived that they were there to provide her and her puppies a better life.
The rescuers were eventually able to get her into their car, where she was taken to a secure location.
The thought of being stray is a thing of the past now that a strong mother can keep her children warm and protected. All of the puppies were happy and healthy. We’re hoping to find them a permanent home shortly.
