Bunny appeared destined to live all his days in the shelter after being adopted and sent back four times.
Despite the wheelchair dog’s sweetness and friendliness, his unique needs over the years have turned off many would-be adopters and necessitated a lot of care.
While he was always loved by everyone on the program, they all yearned for him to experience what it’s like to have a devoted family and a permanent home.
It appeared as though the proper family would never materialize, but then a couple came across Bunny’s Facebook ad and realized they could provide the love and care he required.
They were fascinated as soon as Daryl learned about Bunny. Daryl also uses a wheelchair, so they weren’t at all concerned about Bunny’s particular demands.
The couple knew what it would entail to welcome Bunny into their family and got in touch with the program to ask any questions they had just concerning Bunny’s upkeep.
