Anita, a mother of two and Lucy’s owner, adopted the cat from the shelter two years ago.
The cat warmed up to the family quite quickly and developed a particular bond with the boy and girl. The kids spent a lot of time at home.
She went everywhere with them and took the kids on walks. Anita went to school every day for the free lunches while the kids were homeschooled.
Lucy continued to go everywhere with the kids even after they started attending school full-time again.
Lucy made the decision to enrol in school one day. She entered the school after the kids in silence, but she was swiftly discovered.
Anita was surprised by the cat’s bravery and repeatedly apologized to the teacher.
When Anita hurried to the school, Lucy was standing a few ways from the front doors, trying to enter as if she were waiting for the appropriate time to do so.
The cat pretended nothing had occurred, however, as soon as she saw Anita.
Only by offering the cat food did they succeed in luring it inside. We are confident that the cat will attempt again, so do not give up.
