In bad shape, a limp white dog was brought to the refuge. The puppy, who was only a few weeks old at the time, was rapidly deteriorating in front of our eyes and was being prepped for the worst scenario. However, the sanctuary’s owner stepped in to save the day.
She intended to take the dog in an attempt to save her life. A veterinarian examined the dog at the shelter. The dog’s blood was found to be virtually totally devoid of platelets. The hematological analyzer refused to offer a result since the values were so terrible.
The puppy’s skin was covered with ticks and his mucous membranes were ghost white.
The doctor was unsure of his chances of success, but he determined to save the dog in any way he could. Only a healthy blood transfusion could save her, and it had to be located soon.
The dog was brought back to life with just a few injections. The puppy’s nose became pink, and life emerged in the glazed eyes.
And the dog stared directly into the eyes of her savior at the moment, as though thanking her for her assistance.
The dog made it out alive. That wasn’t the only good news, though. When the puppy was returned to her mother, she was welcomed and permitted to milk.
