Maddie McWilliam and her pet Fiji were driving in a car when they were stopped by another vehicle. Everything worked out in the end, but the big Irish wolfhound vanished.
Maddie and her companions started looking for the dog almost quickly, but they were unsuccessful; he was nowhere to be found, but the owner did not lose faith.
She put announcements about him all over social media and the streets, and soon all of Fiji’s neighbors and even strangers were looking for him.
The woman had already accepted the fact that she had lost her pet for good, yet a gleam of hope remained in her eyes.
The phone rang four days later.
Fiji has already been found, according to complete strangers. But the most moving scene awaited her in the morning, as they had contacted her in the middle of the night.
Maddie left early in the morning to pick up her pet puppy, and their reunion was heartwarming. The woman was overcome with emotion and everyone else in the room was moved too.
And we’re relieved that the story ended happily.
