This dog’s life began in a tough and all-too-common manner. She lived in a backyard.
Her sole purpose in life was to reproduce and have litter after litter of puppies. The dog was eventually given up to a shelter.
While he was there, he met a female volunteer. The woman already had three dogs and had no plans to get another.
But there was something about the dog that moved him.
The lady called the shelter on his last day and discovered that the dog was already in the holding area.
She leapt into her car and dashed to his aid, wasting no time. The dog, as the woman would discover, is more than just a loyal member of his pack.
The dog refused his bottle until the woman tried to place it on his tummy.
Her body warmed the mixture, giving Pamela the appearance of a real dog. The dog had discovered his true calling!
To this day, the dog and Pamela are inseparable best friends. Although the once-vulnerable puppy has grown into a strong adult, she remains attached to her second mom.
