More than 15 years have passed since this couple got married. Despite challenges, the couple had always dreamed of having a large family.
We decided we wanted to adopt a child even before we had kids of our own, ‘Allie says.
We found a company that helped us get trained and get in line because this thought wouldn’t let us go.
Even though everything was going well, the two-year-old boy was constantly missing his siblings.
It turned out that he had four of them, and Allie and Rick made the easy decision to adopt Dave and Gaby, two more members of the family.
Allie says, ‘We got to know the guys before they moved in with us, and we all liked them a lot.’
We readily agreed when the children called and asked if we would be interested in adopting them.
Rick and Allie were proud parents to eight kids as a consequence.
They expanded their already large family by five more kids. The couple feels that choosing to adopt five kids was their most important choice.
They got the big family they had always wanted.
