The photographer didn’t have much time because he was going on a trip.
He had planned to kayak to a little island from the beginning of the trip, and when he arrived, he observed a dog walking around in a fishing shack.
The animal was in a bad shape but was sociable and even wagged its tail.
The man wanted to call for assistance, but the island was too far away. It was clear that the dog would not be able to go on for another day, so he resolved to rush to its rescue.
He hastily put the dog into his kayak and returned, thinking that if he had waited, the animal’s condition might have worsened. The photographer called for assistance as soon as he arrived at the motel.
He was fortunate in that people responded promptly and brought food for the dog, which was later transported to the veterinarian clinic.
The veterinarian informed him that the dog was recovering quickly.
