Nearly 36,000 animals’ lives have been altered by 44-year-old Sam Capana.
He started the Pets organization, where he started making mechanical limbs that enable animals to walk again.

A woman who wanted one for her Labrador, Unnie, visited Sam’s workshop where he produced arms and legs 18 years ago, sparking his interest in creating animal limbs.

The man had never before created limbs for dogs, yet he did not reject the woman.
He created Unnie a new paw in under a week that fit him wonderfully.
Motivated by this achievement, Sam started to delve deeper into the process of making animal prostheses.

He started working with vets all around the country to gain knowledge, and soon after that he founded his own business, Pets.
The man had to repeatedly rebuild the animal paw models since some of the prosthetic limbs were so challenging to create.

Finally, he was successful. Sam constantly cautions owners of his tailed clients not to anticipate miraculous healing on the first day of a prosthesis since animals, like humans, take time to get adjusted to brand new limbs.
