Despite the fact that people refer to it as wildlife, Mother Nature has repeatedly provided emotional scenes meant to remind us that animals, too, have feelings.
In the spirit of love, a touching photo of two sea turtles hugging recently went viral.
Normally, nature photographers record such wonderful moments, but to everyone’s amazement, this adorable snapshot was taken by a police officer.
Officers from the Florida Police Department teamed up with conservation teams earlier this month to conserve marine life during an event.
Officer Wilson was on duty when he noticed two sea turtles raising their heads out of the water and decided to photograph them.
The two turtles, on the other hand, share a hug, and everyone is comforted.
‘If marine life is spotted in or along the course, racing will come to a halt until they pass,’ the police department said on Facebook.
‘Not only do we have eyes from above, from the beach, and from boats to keep humans safe, but we also have eyes from above, from the beach, and from boats to keep marine life safe!’
