Uncertainty was Jina’s first few months. She only desired a long-term residence in which she could finally relax and for which her eventual owner would be aware that she could provide it.
She reached the shelter since she had settled on the choice to embrace Jina and give her the permanent spot to live she had consistently wanted.

Before bringing Jina up, McCalum had not seen her, so when she did, she simply took her carrier and drove home.
Jina was already in her carrier when she arrived. Diana said that Jina was initially uneasy and didn’t know what was going on.

Despite Jina’s hesitation, her new mother could tell by her expression that she, too, was surprised that everything was for her.
After so much uncertainty, Jina was finally at home. The expression on her face when she first saw her new home was well worth the wait.

It took Jina about a week to adjust to her new surroundings, but once she knew she would be staying, she started to relax.
