The old piece of furniture, covered in damaged paint and peeling lacquer, was transformed into a modern and charming decor item in Scandinavian style.

Marina, the owner of the table, used a jigsaw to cut a new bottom for the piece. For the door, I attached slats and then used a sander to smooth out the edges.

I applied a ceramic mosaic to the top surface. The old holes were filled and sealed.

Next, I sanded, primed, and painted both the table and its legs. For the back, I adhered wallpaper to a plywood sheet.

Finally, I nailed the back panel into place and screwed the handles onto the doors. At the end of this metamorphosis, the nightstand had completely transformed.

It’s now a light gray tone with a white mosaic on top. This design blends perfectly with a modern Scandinavian-style interior.

The final result is absolutely stunning! The nightstand is now incredibly modern and elegant, and the ceramic mosaic gives it a unique touch and charm that sets it apart.
