As a puppy, this retriever was adopted. The family had hoped for a sweet, attentive, and clever dog, but the puppy preferred to rip apart soft toys and pillows, scattering stuffing across the house.
He gnawed flowers and strewn food around the living room floor. He dove into the pool and then leapt back into bed to embrace. When the dog was a year old, he couldn’t get enough of puddles.
He returned fully coated with mud after a walk. The retriever could discover a body of water even if the weather was dry.
The dog took the infant girl under his care when she was born. A dog kept an eye on the girl as she grew up. The dog was present when the girl was learning to sit and playing in the playpen.
He was there with her when she took her first steps. They also spent time together playing and sleeping.
«When he’s had enough, the dog simply gives me that look. But we’ve never seen him with a malevolent expression on his face. If he needs to be alone, he simply goes to our bedroom. «But now that she can climb on the bed, the dog will have to try harder to hide,» the girl’s mother explained.
