Every day, this dog visits the beach and gazes longingly at the sea, waiting for his owner, a fisherman. Even though the man passed a few years ago, the dog continues to wait for him. Jollie, a neighborhood resident, shared Vito’s story on social media.
She’s been friends with the dog for a long time. When Jolie first saw a well-groomed and tidy puppy, she assumed that he had owners and that they would return for him shortly.
The woman sat with the dog for a while, talking to him and patted his head, but no one came to get him. Jollie was soon noticed by a passer-by. He told the woman about Vito’s story and how there was no one to wait for the dog.
Soon after, a nearby resident provided the faithful dog a home. She looks after him well; he is clean and healthy, but he still wants his owner and waits for him every day on the beach.
According to locals, the dog always accompanied him to the sea and greeted him when he returned after fishing.
Vito exemplifies dog loyalty and unconditional affection, which we are not always deserving of.
