Karla DeWese from Kentucky was out running in June 2019 when she spotted a little ball of wool near a cornfield.
She took it home and gave her the name Milky because she was unable to leave her on the street.
Karla explains, ‘I picked her up, brought her into the house, gave her a wash, and the next morning I took her to the neighbourhood vet.’
The cat underwent a number of pricey examinations at the clinic.
‘The procedures were highly expensive and were done six weeks apart. Everything was fine at first but following the second, Milky awoke blind,’ Karla said.
Fortunately, Milky’s vision was recovered, and the spots on her face gradually transformed her into a cat who was always smiling.
According to the owner, she is really content and living her best life.
Karla treated the cat for a total of $7,000 and she does not regret a penny of it.
She is happy to have a devoted, adorable, and loving pet in her life.
On social media, where she now has thousands of followers, the woman frequently posts images of her amusing cat.
