An artist from Japan preserves the environment by creating animal sculptures out of recycled newspapers

Sakura Sato made the decision to use her imagination to solve the issue of extra paper products.

From these, the artist fashions stunning animal sculptures. Sakura already displayed her artistic talent at a young age.

She continued design studies after receiving her education.

During her time at the institute, Sakura’s great creative talent was apparent.

She is currently well-known throughout Asia and Europe in addition to her native country.

Sculptor Sato specializes in animalistic subjects. She changes out familiar objects for newspapers.

Sakura waters paper, which she then rolls into the right shape to make extremely lifelike three-dimensional sculptures of animals.

The artist replicates the identical paper forms with a jeweler’s precision after carefully studying all the specifics of the chosen animal.

Such fine detail takes a lot of time and effort. Sakura first handled every situation on her own.

But after she gained popularity, she understood that she couldn’t handle the volume of work by herself.

The Japanese woman drew friends and family members who were eager to work with her and become her apprentices. What a nice girl, right?
