Christchurch residents Katia Meara and her partner desired to adopt an aging animal.
And they fell in love with Tiktac, who they saw on the grounds of one of the neighborhood shelters.
Tiktac had actually only turned five when he entered the shelter, but due to everything he had gone through, he started to appear much older than his actual age.
Katia and her boyfriend still took him home.
They made every effort to provide the cat with the greatest level of comfort.
Over time, he came to understand that he was finally safe and that these folks were looking after him.
Tiktac was a totally different cat six months after moving into his new home.
Now he is a loving, happy, fluffy pet with full cheeks and a very playful nature.
The cat enjoys spending time with his owners, whether they are following butterflies in the summer or curling up by the fire in the winter.
We adore him, Katia admitted, ‘and after he got used to it, he transformed into the prettiest and most cuddly cat. Cool, isn’t it?
