The owners were scared that this cat might get into mischief because she was often curious and wild. The children explored the house and yard for her favorite spots, but the cat was nowhere to be seen.
After several days of looking, the girls had almost given up hope, assuming the kitten had been hit by a car or stolen by new owners. It was possible that the cat was taken up. She wandered around the neighborhood and addressed individuals, hoping to find someone who would be interested in the lovely kitten.
However, a week after the cat vanished, the unexpected occurred: the cat was discovered by a nearby dog. She detected the animal’s scent and discovered it at the bottom of the well. And it’s only a few meters from your house!
The dog’s finding was revealed by a loud bark, which drew the attention of onlookers.
The cat’s family arrived to the well as well, and were relieved to discover their pet alive and well. Despite the challenges, the cat was unharmed.
She sat for a week, clinging to a ledge and famished, but drinking water accumulated at the well’s bottom. Firefighters were called in to assist in the animal’s rescue. They cut the grate, and the kitten fell and went down through it.
Food was used to entice the cat out, and she was soon in the hands of delighted owners. According to the family, the radiator kept their pet warm throughout the evening.
She ate a lot and purred continuously, letting the owners know how happy she was to be back home. The owners aim to keep a closer eye on the cat now. «She’s obviously trying to make the most of her nine lives,» the girl observes.
