A homeless pregnant dog was discovered on the street by an elderly couple. She was starving and plainly ill. Taking pity on the animal, the couple proceeded to look after her.
Kind individuals provided them a new home when the puppies had grown up a little . Although the couple grew close to the puppy, they were unable to take her to them since they believed they would be unable to care for her owing to their age.
Then they found her a new home with an old acquaintance from a nearby city. Everything was OK until the dog’s new owner contacted two weeks later to say the dog had run away from home. Days and weeks passed with no sign of the dog.
The owner had given up hope of obtaining a pet when, out of nowhere, the dog came on the doorstep of the elderly couple who had aided her in her time of need.
It turns out that she had been seeking them all along! Back at home, the dog got hydrated before sleeping for the next 24 hours.
The couple was taken aback when they received a call from a friend informing them that the dog had returned.
The guy offered to pick her up, but the couple decided not to part with the dog this time — after all, how could they betray such devotion?
